Hi ladies, I have missed you all so much but I never seem to have a spare 5 mins to myself any more. Hopefully all will change now as I have sat my last exam for Uni. I have decided to update my Maths and English to GCSE as I need them to be an Early Years Professional (like being a nursery teacher). Its not as bad as I thought it was going to be. My first Maths exam is on Nov 13th - I have to do 3 in total - yikes. My first English assignment id due on Thurs but its already done and waiting to be handed in.

Work is going well, Graeme has been seconded to the NHS. You can treat a patient like you can treat a car part apparently. He likes it but it can be boring. He goes back to Nissan next October. The girls are well. Ellen has just won her latest trampolining competion and Faye has the part of Alladin for her panto production this year, Both are fine and dandy. Ellen did a weeks work experience at John Lewis last week in the ladies fashion. She loves it and they have asked her to return just before she is 16 for a Saturday job. Yeah sorted!

Will try and keep in touch more now. I am off to make a cuppa and research into the supernatural and James 1 for my Shakespere (Macbeth) Assignment. I have already bagsied one of the witches roles for the role play section.

Sending you all hugs.
xxx

Hey you! It's been quieter without you galavanting about in here like usual laugh.gif

Glad to read that all is okay with the CBGB family. Bravo to Ellen and Faye ... clever sausages ... and bravo to Graeme aka the reluctant NHS worker!

Can't wait to hear how you go with your assignments!

thanks girlies.

Yeah Graeme is working for the NHS, but he is just on loan from Nissan. NHS needed someone with experience of saving money, time, space and effort and that was one of his roles at Nissan. He is enjoying the different atmosphere but it is not as hectic as Nissan was.

Have just found out Ellen is sitting the same exam as me on 13th. We are going to revise together. The difference is I am just doing the Foundation level (the highest mark I can get is a C - thats all I need) but she is doing the Higher level (clever thing, she is aiming for a B she said). Wish I had her brains.

You DO have Ellen's brains ... you're the one who helped supply them in the first place you goose! All you need remember is that you DO in fact have a lovely brain of your own and despite assertions otherwise ... it DOES in fact work too! laugh.gif

Good luck to both of you on the exam ... don't forget to let us know how it sent eh! smile.gif

I've never been a fan of exams either CBGB ... partly why I've never gone onwards and upwards to study anything since leaving high school all those years back! No wait ... I did some exams at TAFE College ... forgot about those laugh.gif

arh thanks sweetie pie. Its stuff like being on here with you lot that suffers though. I need to revise or it just doesn't stick in my head.

I have been up since 4am, going over my weak points - think I am OK now. I will have a little look later with Ellen, check she is OK then its D day tomorrow - 9,30 till 11. 30am. That gets the module 3 exam out of the way - just 2 more after that!

I will let you know how I thought I did - hope its not like the last one where I opened up the paper and thought - sh1t!!!!. - LOL.

Yeah I made it through.

It wasn't too bad, I just kept taking deep breaths when I was waiting to turn my paper over. I managed to answer every question, its just a waiting game now to see if the answers were right - LOL.

Ellen said her calculator paper was easy but the non calculator paper was difficult. They had not covered some of the areas that were brought up, thats a bit bad teaching isnt it. She can re sit it if she needs to, but the teacher should have completed everything that might have come up. At least she has experienced an exam situation before her other GCSEs.

I am partying hard this weekend, to make up for the time I have missed while studying and before I start again - LOL.
