Top Gear ..., love it or hate it ... I LOVE it!

Top Gear ... it's a show our family just adores! We laugh till we cry ... we cry till we laugh ... we download it if we miss it ... and we just adore it!

Gav taped the most recent show and is sitting on the couch behind me ... killing himself laughing. He's laughed that hard that he's having to catch his breath! And to make matters worse ... we KNOW when Conor watches it tomorrow after school ... HE'S going to kill himself laughing and will laugh so hard HE will have to catch his breath too!

It's a great show ... we've been watching it for ages now and we're even hooked on the Aussie version!

Sorry Somni but most of the time I hate it and want to give the guys a good shakeing. But I am in a house of Top Gear fans and the men laugh out loud and have tears running down their faces.

Other times I do laugh especially when they do the the races.

It's a very patriarchal he-man type car show for sure ... but I'm a car freak from way back ... even if my car freak nature has been hidden behind babies and breastfeeding in the past!

It's sometimes hard NOT to laugh ... especially during their silly races. We're in the process of re-watching the latest episode with Conor now ... and he's in hysterics! It's a good thing he had to head off to school and Gav took him ... I'm not sure how I'd have coped with his "did you hear that Mum ... he said ..." comments! The little devil HAS to repeat EVERY word he finds funny ... which is basically a long running commentary throughout the entire show! Bless him
