laugh.gif I thought about the extension cords/double adapter plugs but was beaten to the post!

Don't forget a very special teddy bear that's from all of you! A bear she can glance at when she's feeling a little homesick ... and one she can snuggle when she wants to feel close. We're NEVER too old for bears!

Another thought ... a dreamcatcher! They're priceless and very handy when not at home smile.gif

we have wind up torches too very handy and no need to worry about batteries!! We used to have a wind up radio for the girls to use down the stables too, that was always nice if they wanted to sunbathe in the paddock for a while.

a plug in fan for those hot summer nights (hopefully)
and then an electric blanket for those chilly nights!

icecube trays (if the mini fridge has a freezer bit)
microwave, they're only about £20 for a basic one

Excellent ideas Duckie!

How about a little card making kit? Rather than buy cards ... on those nights when she's had enough of studying and watching the telly ... Sharnie can hand-make her own beautiful cards and it will keep her busy! cool.gif

what about also some cheap like store own make etc ...soaps , cotton buds, towels, head ache tablets ,

while you go in to tesco ask for hangers we are glad to get rid of them so it would save buying them

also if you ask at the produce department they normaly have bubble wrap to wrap every thing in it

Brilliant ideas with the hangers! I'm forever running out of the darned things or I end up with 15,000 wire hangers and I loathe them! I have to say though ... my sister was saying she needs to go and BUY some wire hangers so I said 'nooooooooooooooooo ... I have thousands!' I'll take them next time I head south!

Another idea ... a brand new Address Book ... with CBGB's phone numbers and address in too as she's lovely and close! And don't forget to make sure she has the ICE numbers in the mobile phone ... 'in case of emergency' (ICE) and your details, CBGB's number too! Not planning on anything going wrong but handy to have!

Fluffy slippers! Cuddly, warm fluffy slippers may be the order of the day too if we go by CBGB's weather forecasts! laugh.gif
